  • Meditation: Master Your Mind

When asked about the best state of mind, one example could be that of a crawling child. When hungry, the child cries but becomes happy and playful once the need is met. This state of pure presence and responsiveness highlights the importance of being in tune with one's emotions and needs. It serves as a reminder that joy often arises from simple, fulfilled desires and a genuine connection to the moment. It smiles when it sees parents and feels safe and secure. The baby’s mind is away from worries, tensions, competition, money problems, status, quarrels, or similar types of uncontrollable variables. Many successful people, if asked, want to become children again.

Our mind, as time passes, undergoes challenges, worries, pain, tensions, or similar types of tough situations. Most of the time the mind and body control it successfully, but if the impact is massive, it needs medical attention and proper treatment. A qualified doctor prescribes medicines and counsels the patient.

Meditation, on the other hand, if done properly and with the help of an expert, always makes the mind in a better state and capable of handling the tough variables in life. Meditation changes your process of thinking, which involves positivity, self-awareness, and regulated emotions. It also develops capacity towards your choice of responses. Another important factor of meditation is that it develops mental discipline, which means you will not indulge in any grey matter when it has an impact on your thoughts. You can also interpret things according to your conscious mind, and this will be of great benefit to you. Meditation helps you have control over your mind and not the mind have control over you.
